Social Media Account Manager

Socialfly is a social media and influencer marketing agency headquartered in the heart of the Big Apple. As a rapidly growing social media company, we are seeking an Account Manager who 1.is borderline obsessed with social media 2. is an absolute boss when it comes to their written communication skills and 3. has a good handle on the wild, wild world of pop culture. We’re looking for an individual who accidentally (or maybe not so accidentally) speaks in hashtags and has been known to check their Instagram in the middle of their sleep. Okay, maybe we’re just describing ourselves...but a social media addiction is socially acceptable, right??  We're looking for a a candidate with a strong creative vision. Editorial experience is a plus.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help manage social media marketing campaigns end-to-end, including testing, execution, and analytics
  • Create bi weekly or monthly content calendars
  • Must be an excellent creative writer
  • Work closely with internal graphic design team
  • Manage social media posting schedules
  • Create select graphics with Photoshop (not required)
  • Manage social media campaigns and growth
  • Compile social media statistics, analyze, and create reports
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email and digital marketing
  • Coordinate with external partners to execute marketing and promotional programs through their platforms and vehicles
  • Copywrite all social media content calendars
  • Provide in-house graphic designer with creative direction
  • Must be familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat marketing functionality

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience through past jobs or internships (2-3 years of experience in a copywriting role)
  • Understanding of general marketing concepts and principles
  • Experience using constant contact or similar programs
  • In depth knowledge of social outlets: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Interest in marketing and digital tracking
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to provide creative input and suggest different ways to communicate marketing messages
  • Must be able to multi-task and effectively manage the timely delivery of work against short deadlines
  • Great cross-team communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to business, artistic and technical people
  • Ability to create written and visual content that clearly communicates brand's messaging and voice
