Socialfly, a fast-growing social media marketing and influencer agency with headquarters in New York is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic Account Director with excellent interpersonal skills to help lead and manage social media marketing campaigns for clients in a diverse array of industries from Fashion and Editorial to Finance.

We are looking for someone who is able to approach everyday strategic decisions from both a creative and analytical standpoint. You will be responsible for leading and managing a close-knit team of Account and Community Managers, ensuring that campaigns run smoothly and client goals and expectations are hit and surpassed.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating and growing strong senior-level client relationships from the ground up. You will provide leadership during strategy reviews, client-facing report presentations and new business meetings. Most importantly you will have an unbeatable passion for social media with your finger on the pulse of all things evolving in the digital realm!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of account and community managers
  • Build, grow and manage client relationships
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns end-to-end, involving strategy development, media planning, testing, execution, and analysis of campaigns
  • Compile, analyze and make strategic recommendations based on monthly  social media campaign statistics
  • Strategize for new business prospects and lead proposal development to help win new business
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email and digital marketing
  • Coordinate with external partners to execute marketing and promotional programs through their platforms and vehicles
  • Attend networking events and promote Sociailfly
  • Manage client relationships and get contracts to renew 
  • Create strategic plans for clients that include content strategy, media planning, and campaign strategies.
  • Create and execute paid social media strategy
  • Place and A/B test Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter ads
  • Optimize social media ads by analyzing results
  • Create weekly, monthly and quarterly internal reports
  • Lead and present strategy and monthly report presentations to clients 
  • Ensure clients renew their contracts

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3+ years of Digital agency experience is a MUST
  • Passionate, inquisitive and hungry to learn everything there is to know about social media
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of general marketing concepts including branding, marketing, content development and design
  • In depth knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and LinkedIn
  • Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and collaborative
  • Ability to provide creative input and suggest different ways to communicate marketing messages
  • Must be able to multi-task and effectively manage the timely delivery of work against short deadlines
  • Great cross-team communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to business, artistic and technical people
